Where are your products made?
Our products are designed in the UK and manufactured in Portugal.
How do I know your products are safe and meet testing standards?
First Chapter only uses trusted manufacturers to carefully produce our beautiful collections. We only work with GOTS Certified and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 factories that follow the relevant safety, environmental and quality control procedures. All our materials are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified – which means we follow stringent requirements for both environmental and human safety, and we limit the use of synthetic and regenerated fibres.

Gifting services
Do you offer Gift Wrapping?
Every First Chapter product is delicately wrapped in tissue paper, bound with ribbon and cocooned in a branded Kraft box.
But if you’d like to make your delivery even more magical?
You can add an organic cotton, ribbon-tied gift bag and a coordinating illustrated greetings card. Ask us to write a message for you, if you’d like to send it directly to your recipient; we’ll give you the option at the checkout.
Can I purchase Gift Cards?
While you know they will adore any First Chapter treasure, you want your new baby gift to be simply perfect. In that case, choose a Gift Card. Send digitally or select a beautifully illustrated card, and treat new parents to a future heirloom of their choosing.

We offer free delivery on all orders over £100 (in one transaction)
Returns
What Is your returns policy?
We have a 28-day return policy, which means you have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, unwashed with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer exchanges unless faulty.
